First and foremost, Paul Henderson. Should have went in, when he was first eligible, after he retired. Henderson scored the most famous goal, in Canadian history and scored the winning goal, in games 6, 7, 8, to win the Summit Series for Canada. It's a national disgrace, that he's not already there.

IMHO The greatest enforcers should be acknowledged too, or at least recognize the physical aspect of the game.

No it's not.

He was never even close to being good enough to get in.

And he's the first one to admit it.

Debateable, but based upon some of the players already in, I'd put up Ron Ellis for consideration. Not only as a player, but as a spokesman for hockey in general

In fairness I have seen several Leaf fans question the inductees... Sundin included.

Not that I give a damn about defending clouts.

Other HOF Leafs? Tough to say. If there even ARE any, it will be a short list.

Steve Thomas DID have 933 career points. So I guess he's a decent candidate. Never won a cup, but was a great player to watch.

Plus, he was in Youngblood. So that's gotta count for something...

Yeah, but most of those are just hot air.

If you have 1000 points, you're in.
You may not make it in the first round -- but you'll get in.
Sundin definitely deserved it.

I agree with all the selections, just saying Cloutier certainly isn't on an island with his opinion on this.

Yeah, I started to respond with the reasons he should be in... but I gave up. It is kind of pointless. This is the kind of thing people just have an opinion on and not much sense arguing

He deserved it, first ballot. His numbers were easily good enough and I think he was actually one of the most underrated players and leaders of his generation.

27th most points. Yeah, he doesn't belong.

But Kevin Lowe does.

And so does Mike Krushelnyski.

And Dave Semenko.

If you were in the right place at the right time, you're in. New rule.
